To say spring in Minnesota is manic would be an understatement.  These were all taken within the last few weeks.  I'm not much of a photographer and I have a crappy camera so the quality is not as good as it could be.  These are posted in the order they were taken.

I'm so very lucky Writercon is coming to my home city, Minneapolis.  I wanted to go to the last one, but I couldn't get it to work with my schedule.  For those of you unfamiliar with Writercon it is the most awesomest thing to ever happen to fan fiction. From their own website:  Writercon is about the writing and the shared love, not shipper politics or the plots of the shows, except as related to the fic. It's about how fan fiction is literature, and it's about showing that it's as worthy as any other genre of writing.

It used to focus mostly on the Jossverse, but now all fandoms are welcome. When I first looked into going it was as an enthusiast and archivist and now in the last few months I have finally added newbie author to my resume as well.  If anyone can make it up here July 31-August 2nd I have a free room available.    

I have decided to try doing my first challenge at gossipink .  SInce most of the familiar fairytales are already chosen I'm headed to the library today to find a rare one to work from.  At this point I have no clue WTF I am doing, but I'm hoping it will come to me.  :D
